You've fed your beard?
food goes in to your mouth, Noel, and I don't recommend applying miracle-gro to your face.
I've cleaned, tidied and booked my holidays today.

I am much beard at the moment.
I'm torn whether I should thin it out a bit before Oxford or turn up with my winter coat.

It's springtime man, get yourself tidied up
I'm all for a bit of facial hair but ye olde lumberjack, I've-shit-in-the-woods look only really works when there's snow about, you know?

I formulated the perfect jam for that bakewell tart today. It's awesome.

This is good advice, a little spring clean wouldn't go amiss.
I may rue you later in the week when it's frickin' freezing again.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:39, Reply)
The only thing it's due to do later this week
is piss it down, constantly and tiresomely. Here, anyway.

You're coming to Oxford?
Excellent times. Come in your beardaclava.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:43, Reply)
Woo Lampers, yeah that's a fab idea, ta.
Unfortunately it doesn't *quite* stay on my face, but if I get cold it's certainly an option.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:46, Reply)
I suggest this as I secretly want to try it on.

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:49, Reply)
I'll try and remember, reminder set.

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:51, Reply)
Yes boy.
I have a craft idea. But I don't think I have the skills. At all. Though if I do decide to try it would be AMAZINGLY AWESOME.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:53, Reply)
Intriguing.

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:57, Reply)
Oh yes. I'll see how this week goes, before I invest in anything.

if it's crochet I can teach you at the weekend
drunk crochet is best
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:59, Reply)
I want to learn anyway.
I'll find some needles and a little bit of my wool :)
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:02, Reply)
you just need a hook - a 4.5mm or something

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:03, Reply)
I am shit, by the way.

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:05, Reply)
nonsense, it's easy
much easier than knitting, too
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:08, Reply)
I can only purl
Or knit. I'm so shit I can't tell the difference.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:09, Reply)
it'll be knit
I can kind of knit, but not that well. Seriously I don't know why anyone bothers, you can do way more with crochet.

I learn best with someone showing me.
Thank you!
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:20, Reply)
What is your craft idea?
I'm sure you can make anything you put your mind to, unless it involves welding or requires a kiln or something.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:59, Reply)
It's half formed but it's very b3ta-esque

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 20:01, Reply)
Also, tittape?

(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:54, Reply)
I'd love to say I don't know what that is, but I do.
I'm sure they work wonders on tits, but I'm not sticking anything sticky to my beard thankyouverymuch.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:56, Reply)
It's basically double-sided tape designed for skin to fabric contact
for women who don't wear bras because of a gapy dress, but don't want to reveal too much. I'd imagine if you put a few strips on your face it might keep the beard from slipping. But then you couldn't take it off.

I've unbooked my holidays today
With regret, but I need a new roof and that'll come to about the same as my usual three weeks in the States.

Bastard roofs.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:42, Reply)
Where are you going on holiday?
Somewhere warm and non-British?
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:42, Reply)
Travelling in Croatia for 10 days
I can't afford it but meh, fuck it. I'm going anyway.
(, Sun 13 Feb 2011, 19:46, Reply)
Sounds good
Eastern(ish) European countries for the win.
