I'm reading Nigel Slater's life story, or his childhood one, it's based just on the cuff of when I can enjoy the book or not in the 50s.Any earlier and I wouldn't be able to relate at all.

Did you see the programme?It was called Toast and was on around Crimbo. It was really good. Me and my daughter happened to catch the start of it, and we just totally got into it.
