In the last few days
I have finally lost the last of my xmas weight, diagnosed and fixed a problem with my computer, fixed a problem with my ipod, cleaned and fully restocked my fridge, and have been looking (dare I say it) pretty damn awesomely stylish and sexy.

If my smug levels rise any further, I may need to take up croissant eating.

What have you done lately to make you feel smug?

Alt Q: In dealing with both PC World and Apple, I was surprised by the fantastic level of service I received. Smash some stereotypes. Go on, I dare you!

Sis!
Can you fix my netbook too?
I have fallen off the diet wagon spectacularly this week, but I promise to get back on it next week.

Don't eat a croissant, full of butter and regret.

you are right about the croissants
can't that fiance of yours fix your netbook? He's 'in IT' isn't he?

Also: morning sunshine. How the devil are you? I'm very much looking forward to the barbecue. Should be fun. Are you two going to stay with me at Mary's?

I'm super duper ta hun.
Well done on all your good ting.
Unfortunately we won't be at the actual barbecue, as the birthday boy doesn't want to spend his special day with old folks getting on down to the boogaloo, but we'll be there the few days before.
Is our Biscuit coming too? *subtle question to see if I'd be boarding with a canine*

no, it's just me.
And you can't not be there! It's the only reason I'm going!

you can blame me for having standards
We'll turn up a day or two before to say "Hi... goodbye".

Yay!
Then we'll be there, but unfortunatamente not for the actual bon vivant buffet and al fresco munchettes.

I currently weigh the least I've done in about 4 years
Although the difference is only noticeable on the scales, things seem to be going well despite the exercise diminishing somewhat (will pick up when the weather gets better).
I'm pretty fucking smug about that, even if there's still a way to go.

I met a black teenager the other and he didn't even stab me once!

I am about to build a caboinet if it goes well I will be smug, but this is unlikely

I ran my first race
okay it was a 'fun run' but I really enjoyed it and I was faster than I expected.

alt: I've always had good experiences with Apple support. You have to be patient as they are extremely thorough but they've replaced two faulty power supplies and a laptop for me without any aggro.
