yes. They just forgot to add it to the amount they subtracted before they passed on the proceeds of the saleIt was only £60, so I don't mind. I just keep forgetting to do it.
Having said that, it was under Scottish law so it may be different to English.

thank you anyway for taking an interestI think we staunchly refuse to adopt the same laws as the rest of the nation. There's just four lawyers sat in a room in Edinburgh cradling the statute books and murmuring.
