What is the point of the game?

you have an army each (which you select and paint) then they have a battle (which takes too damn long) which has a particular objective, ie destroy the other dude's tank, kill all the other army, etc.

have rediscovered Warhammer and 'Magic: The Gathering'. Whenever I go back I invariably end up sat in a room watching them play, bored out of my mind. Which is why I ended up reading Bizarre magazine at new years, and then got shouted at for being antisocial. *facepalm*

I'm going to bed shortly. How is the cake looking?

my stupid oven is stupid, sometimes it goes really slow and then other times it goes like a rocket and charcoalifies everything. This was one of those times :(

hence the storage heaters. It's a fairly old oven though.

it's perfectly useable, it just has it's foibles. Such as burning my cake one day but undercooking it another, using exactly the same temp/settings etc.

You know what you should do, is get yourself to a shop that bakes cake, buy one, put it in a tin and claim it's your own creation.

I'm sure it's edible, just a bit burnt. I shall sample it in the morning adn if it's horrible I shall very quickly make another.

I've been tooting my own trumpet about cake making and now I'm going to rock up with something blatantly overcooked!

"Last Night on Earth" which is a boardgame with different scenarios of a zombie apocalypse. One (or two) players control the zombies and the rest control the heroes and there's a specific objective.
It's damn good fun.

If they want to play cards, what is wrong with a proper card game?
(, Sat 19 Feb 2011, 1:15, Reply)
I hereby suggest you don't date anyone who engages in such activities. In the long run, you'll be happier.
(, Sat 19 Feb 2011, 1:29, Reply)
Not just the fact you've got to paint your army, but the fact you've got to destroy a fake tank.
(, Sat 19 Feb 2011, 1:00, Reply)
play them get. Also, for some reason anyone playing them starts smelling within minutes. I have seen this phenomenon with otherwise ordinary individuals who've had showers. By the end of the first turn, they stink. Must be pheremones or something

I've avoided such people for years, I'll make sure things stay that way.
