Oh god, sedation is so amazingly good.
I had a procedure done at the hospital, I was awake throughout the whole thing, I was watching Come Fly With Me on my ipad and then laughing and joking. with all the staff, I remember it all, and then I remember them wheeling me out and I sat around while they made sure I was OK and then the drive home.... but when I got to ma's, I crashed out and now I can't remember any of it, I can only remember being awake and remembering, it's all weird, and now I'm really really tired.

I think this is what it's like to be dateraped, I mean, the same confusion, without the rape bit.

They will understand, just chill the fuck out
and don't get tempted to contact any women you might like whilst still how on hospital drugs. Got my friend into a lot of trouble once.

Their drugs are SOO good, I swear if I was a dealer, I'd be well upset that the gov gets all the good stuff.
I can totally see why Jackson was hooked.

Yeh', I think they'll be fine, I hope. I did some work over the weekend so it should be cool.

The thing itself wasn't that bad, been through much worst.
The worst bit was taking the stuff that cleans me out, Moviprep, tastes horrible and you need to drink 2ltr of it.

Same as Dandelion & Burdock then.

The closest thing to it I can think of is that Mountain Dew that's out in the UK, only in syrup form.
I was reading today in Nigal Slatter's book about how excited he got over "The fizzy pop man" who came 'round once a week, which made me "Woh', that really is a different life time to me", he talks about D&B, Creme Soda and Lemonaid (which is for mums, which makes you a goody-two-shoes) if you choose that one.

Fizzy drinks are my biggest weakness , I love the cold, bubbly sugary goodness
I would never have sweets again just to secure an ice cold can of Rio.

I hated them as a kid or teen, but love them as an adult, more so than booze.
They used to hurt my tounge and I couldn't work out why people would like that, I thought the same with spicy-hot food too. But as an adult I like it, and am starting to like spicer and spicer food. Maybe when I'm in my mid 30s I'll start liking beer. My fave are the Rubbican fizzy pops, except the cranberry one.

But oddly enough, the best sweets are always ones that make me screw up my face.

sour sweets are evil
they make my eyes water. Rubicon is nice they sell it in the cornershop near my new place. I will stock the frige.

Do you remember those ones where they had a score rating on where if you can suck on it for 30 seconds you win?
Although they forced you to share, it was fun to take the piss out of those who only lasted 20 seconds.

If you can get the non-fizzy rubbicon lychee, that goes sooo well with cava/champers.

Two excellent calls.

Nirvana were ace, Maiden not so much.
I even did a Monty and spent loads of money on the unreleased Nirvana stuff and audition material. Brilliant.

There was a 60s band called Nirvana who were actually good.
There was also a 60s band called The Charlatans who were actually good.

Who'd have thought it?
(, Mon 21 Feb 2011, 15:18, Reply)
I was only a young un when my brother started listening to Nirvana
they were my transition band from my dads music (queen, meatloaf, dire straits etc) to my teen grungey phase.

My brother saw them a couple of times and was unimpressed.

(, Mon 21 Feb 2011, 15:32, Reply)
fuck what they looked like he should have been listening¬

(, Mon 21 Feb 2011, 15:34, Reply)
Iron Maiden were a spoof band, surely.

They got such a large following for bands that have only done one or two songs that I like*.
I can't say I'm pleased that thinggy blew his brains out, but Dave Ghrole is sooo much better off as the frontman of Foo Fighters.

Most ganeras os music, and most bands, I can find something I'd like, but there is nothign with Madain.

* note: I did not say "Good songs", just "songs that I like", I'm sure others like them.
