It really was fucking shit.

I quite like some of Tarantino's films but he is even worse than Pegg/Frost for the 'knowing references' shit and I hate him for it. Self-consciously 'cult' = wank.

I felt it wanted to be Kelly's Heroes etc
and failed but fair play to him for trying to recreate a good genre. Much like Kill Bill failed to be a number of much better Chinese films, but again fair enough for having a go.
