When my Mum died, there was an argument about which of us would get her handwritten cookbookTatty as fuck, half the pages falling out, but worth it's weight in gold to us.
My sister has it now, I doubt she's used it in the lat 5 years.

I can't think of anything I would want more in the world if Ma' went than a book of recipies the way she does things.even if it's photocopies of other books with little notes in.
