That's pretty cool

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:35, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
depends how you find it, labs
i mean, just say it was by googling the username of a 19 year old student because you are wondering how she could possibly still be single, would that be cool?
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 15:56, Reply)
Do you not know what a Charmander is?!
They're awesome. But I'm more a water-starter than a fire-starter myself.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:00, Reply)
yes
but to be googling it whilst other people are talking about your sexy flatmate charmander at the exact same time would be a huge coincidence, no??
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:02, Reply)
Steady on, no need to pander to Charm
She's not that sexy.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:06, Reply)
ach, i'm perfectly steady, just pissing around 'cos it's friday
just seemed that the reaction to the mention of her was a google image search, and this merited some piss-taking for being a leetle bit creepy.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:07, Reply)
Eh he might have found the picture a while ago and just saved it
I do that all the time with friends, or if I want to insult Monty.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:08, Reply)
that would still mean he went out looking for it in the first place
there's no defence to this, trust me. i'm a lawyer. in fact, i think you're making it worse for both of you.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:11, Reply)
Trust me, you have to prove beyond reasonable doubt
Working for the defence all I have to do is make the jury doubt your version of events by offering up alternatives.

Why would I be making it worse for me?
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:14, Reply)
mention of hot girl
results in "ooh look what i just HAPPENED to have on my computer, what a coincidence" picture. no jury would buy that. case dismissed, go to jail, do not collect £200, you fucking nonce.

you are making it worse for you by defending this course of action. sad times.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:15, Reply)
You can't prove he didn't have knowledge of that pic existing before hand
Therefore you can't find him guilty.

Everyone's entitled to a fair defence, it's part of what makes our justice system.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:18, Reply)
i don't need to prove it
i just need to prove it to the satisfaction of the jury. they'll take one look at him, and he'll be lucky to see daylight again before the age of 92.

If he dresses up smart he'll be fine
Old women are the most judgmental of jury members, and if they like the look of him from the start then they've already made up their mind.

It's crazy, like female jurors are more likely to vote against a woman in a contested rape case (she says she said no, she was drunk, he says she consented), because she "dressed up like a slut, got drunk, it's her own fault". It's maddening, but worryingly common in those cases.

A Squirtle cake with a similar theme
Would be a damned sight harder to achieve.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:03, Reply)
Whereas a bulbasaur one is easy.
Leave it for several months, boom, plant-type.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:05, Reply)
This makes me feel old

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:05, Reply)
no
your grey hairs, saggy jowls and soggy cock make you feel old!
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:06, Reply)
They're not even mine
Just found them in my neighbour's freezer.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:07, Reply)
Psh. Pokemon's been around for ten years, you've no excuse
A rock-type cake would be easy.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:08, Reply)
I wasn't in school ten years ago.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:09, Reply)
Neither was I
I was in university. I fucking loved Pokemon.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:10, Reply)
again we need arrows to swop the words around with HILARIOUS consequences

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:11, Reply)
Hilarious if you're Chompy

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:18, Reply)
So was I
Though I didn't watch tv in university, nor did I own a gameboy, so my exposure to Pokemon was very limited.
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:15, Reply)
Loser. Misty was well up for it.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:18, Reply)
I once made a larp adventure
loosely based on pokemon. I think it took a couple of encounters for the players to work out that the 'throw these mushrooms and a little creature appears and help you fight' mechanism may have been plagerised
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:21, Reply)
Hahaha!
Why is everyone else staring at us? Weirdos...
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:23, Reply)
yeah, weirdos
I suspect there are other people on here who've larped, they're just lying low
(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:25, Reply)
I'm implying the mould would make it a plant-type.

(, Fri 25 Feb 2011, 16:09, Reply)
Oh I got it
It's just jokes of a Pokemon nature make me feel old.
