You're always here :)
not that I can talk...
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:45, Reply)
:-)
How was the ice-cream?
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:46, Reply)
Oh. My. Goodness.
it was the closest I've come to having sex in the last six months. I have also got my bake on this evening (needed to calm down/cheer up) and I think I may have a new masterpiece.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:47, Reply)
yum. what're you making?

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:48, Reply)
Hazelnut and chocolate gelato
mmmmMMMMMMMMmmmm.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:52, Reply)
So it was special then?

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:49, Reply)
Yes. Yes. Yes.
this evenings wonderment comes in the form of posh millionaire's square.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:53, Reply)
What makes them posh?

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:54, Reply)
Proper homemade caramel
with sea salt and roasted hazelnuts, and dark chocolate from Peru or summat on the top.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:56, Reply)
That sounds fantastic.
How much did you make?
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:57, Reply)
The tin is about 10-12" square I think.
Plenty, as long as I don't scoff any more before I take it in to work...
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:02, Reply)
Do work get cakes from you most weeks?

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:04, Reply)
Probably 2-3 times a month, yes
lucky bastards.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:05, Reply)
You need to stop taking cake it.
I reckon that's why you've not been lucky with your PhD applications so far, the people you work with are probably calling up the decision makers to say, 'Don't offer her a place, she never makes cakes.'
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:07, Reply)
Hahaha
I read one of my references actually, and it was almost embarrassingly complimentary.
Cake is a berk perk.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:08, Reply)
berk perk
should be your online catchphrase!
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:10, Reply)
Heh
probably would sound all kinds of wrong out of context, if I'm honest.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 23:12, Reply)
I'm here for another 15 minutes. :)

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:43, Reply)
No lectures yet I guess?
what have you got on for today?
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:44, Reply)
*coughs*
I said I'm here berk. Look ^.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:45, Reply)
an appointment with one of the services so I can get some stuff organised.
I know, suitably vague statement, sorry. basically I'm trying to get my therapy up and running again cos 4 months without it isn't going so well. And then if the money my mummy transferred last night has gone into my bank account, I'm going to buy my books and lab coat.
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:46, Reply)
Settling in/think you'll settle in ok?

(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:48, Reply)
I think so. I have my room organised and it's fairly cosy - I dunno if you saw the photo on FB!
it was taken from OUTSIDE my room. like, against the opposite wall in the corridor.
And I've made a couple of friends, so I guess that's a plus. :)
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:50, Reply)
A lab coat?
*Shouts!*

Barry! Have you got one of those?
(, Mon 28 Feb 2011, 22:48, Reply)
why would Barry have one?
oh. Cos of his collection. I doubt it. Besides, I need it by tuesday. I don't have the money for a courier flight.
