I know I've had a drink though, I've got a can of Natch on the go now - and several more in the fridge, should I fancy drinking them.

The pub was weird this evening.

No, the pub was full of 'youth' who were all drinking soft-drinks.
Chatting to one of the youngsters, they were all on their way to Weston-Super-Mare in their jazzed up cars for some Friday night drive. Apparently they always meet in 'strange' pubs to avoid problems from 'the Feds' (his words).

These modified cars make a lot of noise.

That isn't strictly true Sickboy.
The pub has a carpark and isn't the sort of pub used by 'youth'!

But the lad in question did reference 'the Feds' (his mate was saying something about 'da Babylon' - they were all white lads, all about 20 years old and none of them had girls with them).

I shared a house with some guys who did this kind of thing with cars
putting insane body kits on Mondeos and such like. The kind of stuff you'd see in Max Power magazine. I think they mostly did it to get girls and it was astonishingly successful.

Maybe they were having a 'lads night out'
But they all had acne and reeked of cheap aftershave, so I'm guessing that they'd met the limit of their nights ambition, bar doing hand-brake turns in a large car-park somewhere.
