You aren't telling me you've never seen 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off'?

(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 22:56, Reply)
I'm prepared to never acknowledge Poppet ever again if she hasn't seen it.

Alright Baz
How are you?
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:12, Reply)
Not bad sir, not bad.
I'm feeling very smug that Liverpool and City got knocked out tonight. I'm also trying to convince myself that buying a giant Star Wars AT-AT figurine off eBay for about fifty quid is both a good idea and not at all nerdy.

Got a link to it?
I used to keep greyhounds, they were like AT-AT's, although in dog form.

There's quite a few on there.

Not paying a oner though, no fucking chance.

If you look after it.
You'll get your money back as and when you get bored of it.

I think my Star Wars toys from when I was a kid went in a car-boot sale for about a fiver a piece years ago.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:28, Reply)
I had a daft amount of them.
I remember when I was about seven I lost a lightsabre for one of my figures, and as a perfectionist went nuts about it. My mum suggested I wrote a letter to the toy company asking for a replacement, and they sent me about thirty rare figurines (as well as half a dozen replacement lightsabres). Great days, great days.

God only knows what the stuff I had (in general) as a kid would be worth today if it was in good nick.
I shared a house with some friends years back and we built a scaletric track that went into all the rooms in the downstairs area of the house, that took ages to build (and buy the track).

haven't seen it, sorry mate.

*sits open mouthed*
It's my favorite film ever, my A level English teacher used to call me Ferris because we were similar attendance wise.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:15, Reply)
You should try and catch it.

(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:16, Reply)

It's *the* original teen movie. Doesn't sound too clever when I put it like that, I know.
But you can't not see it.

^ This.
With bells on.

Hey petal, how are you?
I read about your car bump - have you heard anything from the insurance company yet?
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:14, Reply)
Petal?
No. Poppet.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:25, Reply)
she calls me petal because she LOVES me.
and no I haven't - I'm going home for the weekend with the paperwork to get help from my parents cos I"m not sure what to do.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:27, Reply)
That sucks.
Have the police given you an update as to how things are progressing?
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:29, Reply)
No, I should call them really but I've been a bit scared to incase it's bad news.
I'll do it tonight.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:30, Reply)
You'd like to think they'll contact you.
But keep up the pressure. And don't be scared.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:32, Reply)
They have my mobile number but haven't called me yet.
My parents aren't mad thank god, they're just glad I"m okay.
(, Thu 17 Mar 2011, 23:33, Reply)
As they should be.
It didn't sound as though you were at fault, and for the other drive to drive off, something doesn't add up.
