I don't care much for these 'blonde' beers
What can you suggest that I might enjoy?

I think my favourite is Zywiec
which is polish and a fucker to ask for in a pub because I don't know how to pronounce it.

I like that one.
Although I've never seen it on tap anywhere, I know that the supermarket knock out the (large) bottles for next to nothing.

Is it available in pubs?

Tsu-vee-etch
by sight reading.

I tell you what, though. That is a bastard of a language to learn. Between the lack of vowels, and the wierd case endings, I'm finding it 'challenging' to say the least.

Thankfully, you probably don't need to learn it.
And the Poles I've spoken to, all speak good English.

I found this too.
there was a lovely lovely waitress in whitstable when Noel and I went out for tea, she was polish and spoke perfect english.

it is
but only in bottles as far as I'm aware.

They were knocking out the 'larger' bottles for a quid in supermarket the other day.
Worth a look.
