I don't think you're allowed to say a whole disipline is hokum
It's not, it's not perfect but it's a decent attempt to explain the human mind.
By looking at it purely from an evolutionary stand point you get away from a lot of the distractions that the mind takes on from modern life.
What I assume you have against it is that it often come to conclusions that are racist and sexist and generally anti liberal. Morality doesn't come into it though, leave it alone.
