There is only one or two there I might be interested in seeing.

It's not really about seeing the main stage acts, it's what's going on in general

(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:24, Reply)
Precisely!
Hence my preferance for a small festival.

There's great footage of Jim Jones from last Thursday's Koko gig on YouTube.
They are the band to see these days, I reckon. If you get enough of the proper members (and not a shitload of affiliate wankers like Killah Priest) then Wu Tang Clan are fucking spectacular live, too.

Paul Simon, on the other hand, fellates gibbons.
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:25, Reply)
I fucking love Paul Simon, Graceland is one of my childhood favorite albums.

(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:26, Reply)
yeah, but watching him suck off primates is marginally better than watching him sing.

(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:40, Reply)
True indeed.

We were thinking about going this year
Mmmmm... we need to decide soon, but we have no holidays left.
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:18, Reply)
It's sold out so you'll be lucky.

(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:20, Reply)
A friend of ours
always buys a lot of tickets and then sells them between his friends (at the same price); so we've been asked if we want 2
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:21, Reply)
You can't do that at glastonbury
the tickets have your photo on it.
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:22, Reply)
Right
then I misunderstood... he called us yesterday asking if we wanted 2 tickets, but we'd been drinking all day, so he might have been buying them.

Mark's just confirming that they're sold out. Well, one less thing to think about.
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:24, Reply)
THey sold out yesterday.

(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:25, Reply)
Mark says
it took just 2 hours to sold out! That's quite impressive.
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:27, Reply)
And
he didn't call yesterda, he called Saturday. Definetely, too much beer in Sheffield.
(, Mon 18 Apr 2011, 9:26, Reply)
