Anywhere on Dartmoor suits me.

if I had to pick a favourite place then that would be among the top contenders.

I don't know the NE part very well
I like the Burrator resevoir though, in the west. I guess I know the area round Tavistock the best.

through having mates who lived nearby. I highly recommend checking out those reservoirs next time you are down. Truly lovely places.
