I was at mrs v's sister's wedding the other day. Met her aunt and uncle for the first time, and they accused me of dubious musical taste (for some reason) and then her uncle says "I'd have thought you'd be into surf music like Dick Dale" at which point apparently my face lit up and I blurted "Dick Dale is a fucking legend!"

their albums all seem very good. Odd weaker track, but on the whole great stuff.
