You knew it was going to be nothing but things either being shot, ripped apart, or blown up, so I think anyone disappointed that it did this is a fool for not expecting it. It's the same with The Expendables.

The difference is that The Expendables had nothing to live up to
Alien, Aliens and to a lesser extent Predator are superb films, and AvP was a reminder of how far the franchise has fallen
