I made a couple of compilation CDs a few years backand the first one got a pretty muted reaction, and for the second I arranged the tracks mellowest/slowest to heaviest/fastest and got positive feedback from several people. So I try and do that now, or start rocking and gradually mellow out, or have a silly song at the start and at the end....

usually I have a themewhich, unsurprisingly, is usually based around whatever the main theme in larp is that year
