i don't know what i want for lunch
well, i do. i want my £10 salad, with blue cheese and chilli flakes and walnuts. but the fucking place has closed down :(

when i was a student
and ran out of money, i had more than a few weeks when i lived for £1 on 4 cans of spaghetti from iceland. i still cannot BEAR that manky tomato sauce taste.

i probably could
but it requires levels of organisation that i simply do not have. to remember to get the right amount and to bring it into work... and then to actually want to eat what i brought when my colleagues are going out somewhere or friends are going out after work which would immediately tempt me to anything but what i had brought... it would just rot in a carrier bag in the fridge. i have zero willpower.
