Oh I doI would never invest in a house. I don't mind property prices staying the same, I just hope they don't drop. But even if they did, it just means whatever I buy is cheaper too, so it's not the worst thing in the world.

I've always viewed it that way.and I wouldn't change it. Despite its eccentricities I love my house and am thoroughly enjoying doing it up in my own style.
