I have no TV
so unless someone tells me there's something good on iplayer I will mostly be reading or arsing about on here. And so should all my subjects
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:12, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
oh facepalm
do they make programs SPECIFICALLY for the iplayer that you can ONLY watch on the iplayer?
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:17, Reply)
not sure
I think there are some things, like misery bear
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:19, Reply)
My point dear, is that you can watch anything on the internet, doesn't have to be on a tv
I thought we had this discussion already?
You could have said "I'm not going to watch anything because I don't have eyes, and this is my assistant typing."

I'm watching Buffy Season 4
I haven't watched Buffy in ages, it has aged surprisingly well.

I was just talking about Buffy yesterday.
My dad downloaded all of the songs from their musical episode, I stole it a long time ago and my friend found it and made me listen to it. Twice.
"Walk Through the Fire" is my favorite.
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:26, Reply)
That's a great episode
the intro song is one of my favourite. "She's not even half the girl she ... Owwwww!"
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:28, Reply)
I don't remember that much about it, actually.

(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:29, Reply)
i *suppose* so
it's just if you have a TV you leave it on and watch it, internet telly is way more effort
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:30, Reply)
With as many channels that are on the tiv, it's likely to be a lot easier to search online or buy online what you want to watch and watch it immediately
as opposed to searching on the tiv for what you want to watch, waiting for it to come on, recording it, etc etc
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:32, Reply)
but i have to make an active decision
to look for something to watch, rather than the idle watching of TV one does with an actual telly
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:33, Reply)
I can't do that.

(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:36, Reply)
What I mean is that even if it's on
it has to be on something I like, and if it's something I don't like I have to change it or just turn the tv off
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:43, Reply)
ah, I used to fire through the channels getting annoyed that
it was shit, then watch some rereuns of old comedy shows. I didn't miss telly much when I left it behind
(, Wed 18 May 2011, 21:45, Reply)
sometimes I just turn the tv off and stare at it
and then I laugh
