I knocked a wall out of my flat, it wasn't big maybe 2m acrossit produced 27 rubble bags of waste to be carried downstairs...misery.

I took apart a brick fireplacenot including the bricks it filled up 16 bags with mortar and plaster.
it's crazy, especially now you have to pay to take the stuff to the tip

it was mostly mortar in reasonable chunksbut you can get rid of almost anything on freecycle
