I love old films, even when I was a kid I loved watching them. They have a certain quaintness and some of them are bloody good films which would stand up to todays cinema. I'm also a Bette Davis/Joan Crawford fanatic.

And if we're going back further, I love watching the silent films of the twenties and previous. You just don't get them on the TV like you used to.

Not really. All about Eve is fantastic.
I read their biographies. You would not believe the stuff actors/actresses used to get up to at that time.

All about Eve is a brilliant film
as is The Women. I didn't see the remake of that one, but I imagine it was shit.
