that pisses me off
one of the only good things about religion is that it leads to awesome buildings. Or it used to anyway. Modern churches are mostly vulgar and shite.

I went to Galway a few years back, and had a snoop round the Cathedral
The imagery was fantastic, it was a beautiful building, right up until I walked into the SHOP in the middle of it. Fucking ruined the entire experience for me.

that sucks
my sister-in-law lives in Wells, and we went in the cathedral there a little while ago. Stunning builing, and there was a proper choir practising in there. Not your shit C of E hymn type choir, but a proper latin chanting one. I sat down and listened for a good 15 minutes.

Wells is a really gorgeous cathedral.

Yeah except when I went there
I was being *constantly* harrassed to donate to the fucking place. Put me right off giving them any money at all. So I didn't. Fuck you, yokels.

Bastards.

And they people of the cloth.
Makes me fucking sick.

it's an outrage

They were basically following me round shaking tins at me.
So I paid them back by ignoring all their little signs and flash-photographing all their displays into oblivion.

Donate that, cunts.
