The worst place in the universe is Coventry.

I concede that Coventry is an absolute reeking armpit of a town
however, it's still not as bad as Teesside.

The only places further North I've been are Manchester, Nottingham and Edinburgh
all of which seem fine in comparison.

I can't comment on Nottingham, as I've never been
but Manchester and Edinburgh are great. Coventry...not so much.

Manchester was an attractive enough city. I could probably live there
were it not for my distressing tendency to laugh loudly whenever anybody tries to talk to me in their version of English.

Nottingham is merely OK.

I found Manchester horrible
Being full of people from Manchester didn't help.

Nottingham is fucking awesome, but I might be tad biased

When I was a consultant I had a contract there for 5 months
I hated it, but that might have been the 90 minute commute to a business park in the middle of nowhere to work with a bunch of cunts on a shit product.

It really isn't...
I've lived in Coventry most of my life and have visited far worse places. True, it has a poor reputation, but in my opinion this is unjustified...
