Alt: Peterlee is a crushingly awful place.
Klinger from the TV series of MASH. What a shower of shit, ruining an otherwise excellent show.

There isn't anything in Peterlee
Good call on Klinger

Hence the depression I suppose.
When working up in Peterlee, I often thought I should take a break and go for a stroll round the centre. When I did, there wasn't one, but there were loads of people stumbling around hoping to die as soon as possible.

I used to love *MASH*
Did the series not run for something like twice the length of the war?
(, Wed 22 Jun 2011, 10:22, Reply)
I think more than 5 times as long.

That seems very unlikely
Given that the Vietnam war, whilst never officially declared by either side, is reckoned to have lasted (at least in terms of American troops on Vietnamese soil) from 1961 to 1974, if that was the case MASH would still be on TV today

MASH was set during the Korean War

This is what I get for commenting on a show I never really watched
If indeed it was a show

But MASH was actually set in the Korean war
(although it is well know it was intended to be a reference to vietnam)

You are the weakest link
