I am gutted you cannot make it.
My brother gave me a load of his old 45s so I could've done a little Davvo set of things like A Forest and Temple of Love for you.

Got any Adge Cutler and the Wurzels?

Of course.

That would have been ace.
Although, now it's confirmed as a Saturday it might not be so much of an issue. I'll have the money to make it but it depends on how things are home-wise as to whether we'll make it down.

Do your best, old boy - it will not be the same without you.

Will see what can be done.

Don't know how much you usually pay for rail tickets
But you could fly from Newcastle with British Airways at the moment for less than £90 return.

Our train tickets to swipey's bash
are costing about £80 for the two of us. If you can book early enough you can get a one way ticket for £12.

Plus I prefer getting into King's Cross, I've flown into Heathrow before and find it no quicker from door to door, as it were, than getting the train.
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 15:17, Reply)
I agree. Kings Cross is very handy.

None of this pissing about landing at the airport
and then having to pay another £15 to get a train into the city malarkey. Oh no.
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 15:36, Reply)
And Kings Cross is handy if, after a long train journey
You fancy getting noshed off by a young man.
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 15:38, Reply)
And the best bit is
it'll probably still cost you less than getting the Heathrow express!

"we'll" ? "we" is plural. That means two people, implying neither. Oh man, really? =(((((
