No, not at all
I started applying for a job I had a very good chance of getting, had met the team involved...logged on this morning to discovered they'd closed the vacancy 10 days early due to overwhelming response. I rang the woman I'd met and she sounded genuinely upset but said there was nothing she could do.
I have still not heard anything from the applications I made earlier in the month, despite thinking I had a good chance of getting at least two interviews.
there may have been a minor bedroom-based mishap last night which has made me feel very inadequate and stupid. But there was no grumping.

Your bedroom mishap, was that more or less embarrassing than, for example, your fellow pulling out to change position and accidentally jizzing in your hair?*

me mistakenly thinking he'd come and stopping doing what I was doing, and then having a massive flounce/strop and embarrassing myself further when I realised he hadn't. I have no confidence in my ability to do sexy things, and worse, little confidence in his ability not to judge me for being rubbish*

*NB, I'm probably being massively paranoid and unfair here.
