My guess is...

I hope you get some luck soon berk.
How much longer have you got in your current role before the funding is withdrawn?

30th September is my last day
I am applying for jobs I am absolutely qualified for, overqualified for in some cases...and still not getting any interviews. It's extremely worrying.

Well I wish you ever bit of success in your search.

I had three post-doc roles on jobs.ac.uk
and you didn't apply for any of them. Or, at least, I assume you didn't. Sad times, Berky. Sad times.

That is because I don't have a PhD...
a bit of a hindrance to gaining a postdoc, I'm afraid.

ah, my bad, I thought you did.
apologies

Sadly not
was planning to do one, but I didn't manage to get one of those either. If it wasn't for the fact that I do currently have a job I'd be beginning to think I'm unemployable...

^this
At the moment, I'm either over-qualified or inexperienced, depending on the jobs I go for. Nine years of self-employment haven't done much to help my CV.

But at least you can give yourself a good reference!

If you find one
will you get one for me, too?
