It's something I always wanted to do
but assumed I would never be brave enough to try. Then last night the opportunity presented itself, with relatively little effort required, and I thought 'why the hell not?'.

I've run away from anything exciting my whole life because I'm scared of everything, but whenever I've faced up to scary things in the past, they're usually not so scary. And squishy death aside, there's really no danger in doing this. There's nothing for me to be afraid of.
