I'm off to my regular Tuesday night blues jam in a few minutes, so yes, I am probably am going to have a good evening.
Thank you for your concern.

Alt: Depends on the criteria. Last band I saw were the guys who followed my band on the bill at our last gig. Not wanting to sound arrogant about it, but they were fucking shit. An uninspired, tuneless wall of guitar chords and too damn loud for their own good.

On the other hand, the last band I went to see intentionally was probably the Matt Schofield Trio. And they were fucking excellent.

I often find bands are too loud
a lot of sound guys tend to crank the monitors too much as well. Tossers.

I watched them soundcheck
To be fair, I didn't rate the sound guy's competency in insisting on miking the amps, given that they were already too loud for a room that size. And oh, surprise surprise, you can barely hear the vocals without sending the PA into squealing feedback.
