My boss took an "IO buffering" change I made to a script and applied it to another problem scriptand reduced the time it took to run from 17 hours to 21 minutes. I'm awesome by proxy now.

NiceI remember many moons ago doing a server swap from Unix to Windows and a process that took over 24 hours to run per week period (and they had 33 weeks to run it through) ran all of it in 15 mins. The site actually refused point blank to believe it had worked until they looked at the data.
