of the bagged variety anyway. Not even sure why I don't want to admit this, past cruelty to chimps I guess, in the same way I still feel odd buying South African oranges, even though that's all ancient history.
Coffee is also good, but it's harder to get a good cup of coffee than of tea, outside my flat anyway.
Alt: I am feeling quite sleepy today so I may curl up on the sofa and watch a nice film with some coco before having an early night as tomorrow is a busy day. Bugger! I'll do that after I've changed the sheets on the spare bed and made sure all the weaponry is hidden, bloody visitors, grrrr.

Having strangers in my flat, less so.

My friend who is working on some kind of film has a spare sound man she needs putting up for 3 days and as she is a very good friend and desperate I have offered my sofa bed which I usually sleep on when my son comes to stay.
This also means giving up my living room for 3 evenings most likely so expect lots of posts as I hide in my bedroom with my laptop to avoid having to interact with the random northerner.

is the Aeropress. I bought one for mr b3th for his birthday. It takes a mild amount of faff, but no more than brewing up a teapot, I find. And it makes a proper percolated coffee in a mug, without fannying about with a cafetière.

In one of my favorite books the character is describing a cup of coffee, the smell and taste, and the coffee I've had doesn't taste that amazing
