I didn't do biology, so I could be making this upbut aren't the genes for blue eyes recessive, which is why they're less common than other colours?

That is correct, green eyes are apparently rarer stillbecause they're fully recessive, whilst blue's not. Or something. It's been 15 years since I did biology.
They're undoubtedly the best, though.
