I shall refrain from opening up the old "football's shit", "no it isn't", "yes it is" debate and merely point out that I am so clueless on the subject that I do not even know what David Beckham has named his latest spawn, I gather from the joke that it's number related, but it's only due to the jokes that I intuit he's somehow gotten that coat-hanger of a wife of his up the duff again. Come to think of it I don't even know if he's still playing the game.
