How is the new job at News International going?

I bet that's a brilliant place to work
You must be able to get away with murder, the bosses have no idea what goes on there

I'm not so sure.
Apparently, there was one bloke who was the Harry Potter correspondent. Changed his name by deed poll and everything, and he had to wear full Potter regalia into the office. The one day he didn't want September 11th, 2001.

And was promptly put on a disciplinary, and ordered home to get changed.

Yeah I can't make head or tail of that post
Sorry mate, not enough coffee in me. Hurry up 11am, the rest of my day is meaningless

There was a bloke who had to dress up like Harry Potter for his job.

(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:41, Reply)
Surely that's just normal clothes with a robe over it?
And glasses, which is not a huge stretch for someone like me
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:44, Reply)
Hat as well, apparently.
And a wand, too.

You can imagine him getting ready for work in the morning "I put on my robe and wizard hat".
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:45, Reply)
harry potter doesn't wear a hat
and carrying a stick is hardly much of a chore
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:47, Reply)
They did in the first film.

Yeah, even fucking blind people manage that OK.

(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:49, Reply)
Vippers is right about the hat
We've all forgotten the most important part of the outfit; the scar. That must have been a bastard to apply each morning. Lancome do quite a nice shading foundation which might have made the process easier.
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:50, Reply)
Are you playing up to your meme here?

(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:51, Reply)
Yeah it was a total fabrication
Well called.

Lancome are fucking shit.

You're the only one who got this.
And I thought this was a place that understood internet pop culture.
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 10:55, Reply)
I just assumed that the Potter fans
would miss the reference due to their respective tumescence causing a lack of blood to their brains
(, Fri 22 Jul 2011, 11:03, Reply)
More than likely.
