As a photographer, I'd kill - no humour meant - for that photo.
The 2 coppers carrying the kid.
Through being in bed, I missed out on the Manchester bomb in '96.

Photography doesn't pay like it used to.
As everyone has a digi cam, and a camera phone.

It's very overused.
Same as PS filters, totally unnecessary.

it's like people think the most important thing about a picture
is high contrast and sharpness, which is bollocks.

I heard someone put a Henry Cartier Bresson picture up on Flickr and it got flamed!

Yeah, well that's Flickr.
Re the sharpness, I still use Vaseline on Sky filters for portraits, to get soft focus.

I'm all about the low tech fixes. The most fun camera I have is my beer can camera :)

I got really into pinhole cameras at one point.
I heard about a guy in Scotland who made one from a Wheelie Bin. He didn't have a car, and used transport it on the bus. What a star.

hehe
is that Justin Quinnel? Wait, I think he's from Bristol, so maybe not. Anyway, you should look at his work, he has all these pictures taken from the insides of his mouth.

Never heard of him before, but I've just had a look.
Good stuff.
