because some injuries take a fucking age to get over and you feel shitty and frustrated because of it.
What kind of surface are you running on by the way?

I made that mistake once. I ran on concrete for months, then on a treadmill for a few weeks, then back to concrete running the same way I did on the treadmill. It ballsed my knee up for about 6 weeks.
