This weekend involved some cheesy films and some quality time with the family
Just watched Trading Places (trying to explain the stock exchange ending to my 11 year old was fun, especially when I've never truly got it myself (but there is a useful wiki article on it)). Now watching Christine.

Alt; We've got around three weeks till holiday time so the intense planning starts this week. I've got airport parking and hotels to sort for my wife and her sister as they're off to Belfast to see 30 Seconds to Mars. My wife has a free pass for Jared Leto so she'll be doing her best to cash it in come the time.

Trading Places is a fucking ace film.
Every new year I send DJ a text reading 'Merry New Year!' purely in honour of how much we love this film.

Eddie Murphy used to be funny.

I do the same with a few of my friends.
I can't remember a year I haven't sent a text or yelled across the street to someone 'Merry New Year' (accent and all). If we're in the house on New Years Eve that film is a must.

The last funny Eddie Murphy film I can think of is Bowfinger.

"If you were a president you'd be Babe-raham Lincoln".
