Oh Montague you terrible cunt.
Should I treat myself to White 1 by Sunn O))) on vinyl?

Yes

Your reasoning?
I want it so I can drop My Wall at the end of parties when people are deep in the K Hole and watch the reaction.
(, Thu 4 Aug 2011, 13:00, Reply)
Because I quite like them
I don't have that album, but I can highly recommend Monoliths and Dimensions.

I love Sunn O)))
My favourites are White 1, White 2 and Black One.

Erszebet Bathory is tremendous.

I think you have answered your own question then
If it is one of your favourites then you really should get it on vinyl. Plus Southern Lord vinyl is lovely.

That and Black One then.
Sunn O))) needs to be played very very loud and vinyl is best for very very loud while maintaining the frequency range.

Sunn O))) are my favourite metal band of the last 10 years. Arty, serious, avant garde and challenging. Very much the Peter Andre of drone metal.

I like Boris as well.
They're a bit more accessible to the common palate though.
