I think I was more blown away by the coolness when it came out
but watching it now, the plot flaws bother me more, and as Cavey says, it's all been doem in books. one thing I'll say for the sequels is those suit things with the mini guns on where cool.

it's a decent film until the last few seconds
when Neo flies into the air. That's when I got the sinking feeling that the sequels would be poo.

i'm quite picky about plot/logic/science holes in films, especially SciFi
The is why, even though I am a Sci Fi fan I like almost no scifi films. Once I realised the impossibility of the whole humans as batteries idea, it stopped working for me. I'll be interested to see if I dis like inception in 10 years, love it now.

which one?

both of them.

I don't really care about the science flaws in sci-fi films
the ones that stick with me are the ones that are more about the people and humanity than technological concepts. I liked Solaris and Sunshine.

The plot never really mattered though I guess
the suit things were a bit old-hat for me, and the machine city was just bizarre

Old had, but fun.
For me the plot almost always matters, must be an old people thing. night night.
