Wasn't the keyboard layout specifically designed so that the letters are awkwardly placed?
In order to slow down typists and avoid the keys getting mashed together on the old style manual typewriters? I've a feeling this was a later 'innovation' probably by a man, thus invalidating your theory, but I'm off to Wikipedia to find out.

Yeah, Wikipedia will know.
Font of all knowledge, is Wikipedia.

How are you, scrotebag?

It's fun to bash Wikipedia
but if it wasn't actually right most of the time people wouldn't use it.

It agrees with me about qwerty being invented by a bloke, but not about the deliberately being hard to type on bit. That's half remembered form an educational program in my yoof, so may well be wrong.

I'm fine thanks you mawkish harridan, much better for having seen/hugged my boy on his return from Florida.

He's obviously not a teenager then.
The only people allowed to hug them are other teenagers. Parents, aunts/uncles and grandparents are just embarrassing.

I'm no that old.
Although, shockingly I could have legally fathered a 20 year old, but he's 8, and quite happy with public displays of affection, long may it last.

It's a good general reference
on specifics, particularly in certain more obscure areas, it falls down as the page tends to be written by one person to their interpretation and not enough people check or can be bothered to argue.

It's getting better though. Although I still kick my student's arses for referencing it; that's unacceptable.

For this kind of general knowledge shit it's plenty sufficient.
I mean Chompy's quoting it down there, and we all know how right he is about everything.
