I've got salad
which is almost, but not quite, the epitome of tedium. I'd rather be having that merguez, hummous and caramelized onion flatbread thing I had the other day.

How goes the packing?

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:10, Reply)
Nnnnnnngggg it isn't, really
I managed to tidy up most of the horrendous mess I'd made before going to bed, but I'm so tired now I can barely see and I have to be up at 5am tomorrow to catch a train to Edinburgh, where I'm going to a wedding/Fringe.

If you get me up there and get me nicely caned, I'll pack like a motherfucker.
I am at my most tidy-uppest after a big spliff.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:13, Reply)
Once I get rid of all the crap
it will actually be very organised and tidy. It's just that my method for getting rid of the crap involves tipping everything on to the floor and going through it bit by bit, throwing most of it away and repacking the remainder.
It's not a good method to get distracted halfway through, it really isn't. Anyway, you've been to my flat - albeit briefly - and it wasn't so bad...was it?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:17, Reply)
Nah it was fine, but yeah you do have a lot of "stuff"
and I only saw the living room. When I moved we managed to pack and move everything over two days, then unpack and sort everything at the other end. Stopped us getting distracted by shiny things.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:26, Reply)
Yeah, a good half that 'stuff' has been or will be chucked out
I hang on to too much stuff, out of sentimentality and hoarderdom. When I realise I've only got a couple of days left before I move, I'll go in to absolute overdrive. It'll be fine.*

*may contain traces of trying convince myself it will be fine.

You should come to my house
There is always weed and it is a fucking tip*

*These two facts are in no way related

Mess bugs me when I'm smoking, it's weirdly obsessive I'll admit.
I think it's my inner minimalist fighting to get out.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:39, Reply)
opposite of me
smoking makes me not care

If you like being stoned whilst surrounded by books, records and guitars
then it is the place to go.

I saw this thing yeah', and it was a guy who wanted to propose to his wife.
Over a couple of years, he'd subtaly ask questions, such as "Hahaha, if we were to get married, YEAH RIGHT, AS IF, but, hypotheticly, what kind of cake would you like?" and over the years he built up all the things she wanted. Then, one morning, he proposed to her, and they got married on the same day, which was her perfect wedding from what she was saying before.

I think it's a bit Control Freek(ish) and that planning is part of the whole experiance. But, just so you know, if you _are_ doing that with us in eddingborough tomorow, then I'll still say 'yes, I do'.

Café Rouge is surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. It's not really diet food though I must say...
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:11, Reply)
That's true
nowhere is diet food though.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 13:13, Reply)
Diet food isn't so bad, unless you're eating out
but the post diet blow-out will be worth it!

This is true
I'm relaxing a bit this weekend because am at a BBQ and don't want to be one of those bastards who brings a bag of carrot pieces, but will stick to just meat.
