The Tripods.
Loved that show, loved the books even more. I reckon it'd stand up to a modern remake.

Another good call. Loved that show.
And maybe this time round, they could actually finish the story.

The books wrapped it up well, I'd still read them now even though they were kids books I think.
Nice.

Were they John Wyndham?
I read the Chocky books after the TV series. They were good.

*Shame high fives*
I've got the prequel and all somewhere

Nice.
I've just read reviews of it, doesn't sound like something I want to read. I lent my copy to daughter's step-dad's step-kids and never saw it again. Might have to dig a copy out.

Many moons have passed since I read it, I seem to remember it fitting in quite well with the trilogy
Four lyons out of five, you should pick up a second hand copy.

I loved those books, though the third one wasn't as good
never saw the tv though
(, Thu 25 Aug 2011, 19:40, Reply)
I aint seen the tv series, but then I grew up with two channels that never showed anything anyway.
I'd get it for the terrible effects alone, I'm sure I've seen bits on you tube, it's loltastic

No tv when I was little
maybe when I've got money to spend
(, Thu 25 Aug 2011, 19:48, Reply)
