I love how these things always come back to someone saying
"I didn't do it myself, so there is no possible reason on earth why it could possibly have occurred with anyone else because my situation is directly comparable to everyone else's situation."

The implication of taking that line is that there is a massive section of society which has ceased to be considered as human and should be exterminated forthwith.

Now, fine, make that argument, if you're going to start off being jokey and unreasonable, but you can't argue there from a reasoned perspective.

I'm all too aware of how limited my experience and knowledge of this stuff is.

Often I'm curious about what the counter is to what I say, rather that actually thinking it.
