Do you think they could arrange another one for when I'm down in October?
That would be spiffing.

I'm not surprised
Try Googling 'best restaurants islington london' instead.

Yeah google has an autospellcheck so that doesn't really work.

Go to Gallipoli on Upper St.
Turkish - superb.

Just seen a review looks good.
The person I'll be going with is a bit of a fussy eater though I'll check the menu.

They're so good
they opened a second one about 20 doors down to cope with demand - then a third one - all are still open 15 years later.

They're lovely people too.

Yeah just looked at the menu. The full mezze looks awesome.

It is.
But you have to have the Sucuk Izgara as well - it is incredible.

I don't see how correcting a typo is being a ninja.

It's not a good area for eating out.
Better to travel for a few minutes and get out of the west end.

Any streets and restaurants in particular?
I don't have a great deal of experience of The Big City.

Upper St in Islington is just up from Kings Cross
and has dozens of resataurants. It's probably the nearest place to Euston where there are lots of choices.

Otherwise specific areas specialise in different cuisines: Kingsland Rd: Vietnamese, Whitechapel: curry, Dalston: Turkish etc

OK, that's great. Thanks Monty.

If you have to stay round Euston there are a handful if Indian restaurants very nearby
and a few places just down Gower Street. But you are better to move a little further away. You could always move over to Fitzrovia and the Charlotte Street area too.

OK thanks.
