Oh you missed a 'classic' day on here today Al.

I just read my thread about the tax dodging stinky pikeys who I've just read have lost their appeal.
What else happened?

Fucked if I know, I've just got here.

Hundreds upon hundreds of 'TV programme names with a lame food pun shoehorned in'
Less then ten were of any merit at all.

Guiltiest party: a Mr P. Chomp.

I almost smiled at 'Quornblower'

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:13, Reply)
'Houmous The Tank Engine' was good too.

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:16, Reply)
Fine don't mention any of mine.

it was worse than an invasion of sock puppets

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:12, Reply)
Sock puppets on OT?
Shirley not.

You know when you were a teenager
and you stay over at someone’s house and there are several of you sleeping in the same room and you have a running joke and eventually you all want to go to sleep but there’s one kid who won’t stop and cannot take a hint until everyone wants to die?

It was like that but without the teenagers or the sleep or the bit where at first it’s funny.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:16, Reply)
that is exactly what it was like

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:17, Reply)
I've had a flick through some of the threads today and despite me liking a pun or two
I feel glad to have missed it.

They can't crack 'em like you can, Jeff.

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:16, Reply)
I've just been back to have a look.
Dear god the quality was a bit, erm, ITV.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:17, Reply)
What do you suggest I do on the afternoon of your mega bash to keep myself amused.
At the moment, sitting in the pub and reading the paper is winning. Anything worth going to see/do locally?

www.visitlondon.com/attractions/

You might be a bit pushed to find something as there's fuck all there, like.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:19, Reply)
LOL

I'm such a fucking wag, me.

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:22, Reply)
Ah NOAH!!!

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:25, Reply)
Hang out with me if you like.
There'll be a little bit of soundchecky tedium but other than that we could go and look at something, ideally a Tayyabs menu or something like that. But I can also do cultural if you'd prefer?

If you'd rather do some solo sightseeing I can give you a list of non-bent options in the area.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:20, Reply)
Food and beer works for me.

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:21, Reply)
Oh man, if you're going to have a tayyabs in teh afternoon
I might come along. And then go home when all the attention seeking spastics come out in the evening.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:23, Reply)
Good move.
An Internet Hardnuts Convention in the mid-afternoon.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:24, Reply)
Sounds favourite at the moment.
I've yet to sample the food from Tayyabs.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:24, Reply)
Pfft I arrive in the morning

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:27, Reply)
I'm not getting on a train 'till midday.
Which reminds me, I've still not booked my hotel. I'll do that this evening.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:28, Reply)
I arrive about midday I think

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:30, Reply)
Pub is always worth a visit

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:22, Reply)
Arr. But then if there is talk of food as well....

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:23, Reply)
Tayyabs is better than pub.

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:24, Reply)
You can drink beer in Tayyabs, but you cannae eat Tayyabs in the pub.

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:24, Reply)
I have to agree with this

(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:24, Reply)
Pubs in London have discovered something new, Jeff.
They're called menus and you can select a variety of consumable items from them, often at a fairly reasonable price. I don't think it'll catch on, personally.
(, Wed 31 Aug 2011, 18:25, Reply)
I fancy trying Tayyabs.
Part of me hopes it'll be 'fucking shit' so I can mock Monty in the future, although I strongly suspect it'll be lovely.
