custom-specced 1997 Kona Explosif, which is well old skool innit but still better than 99.9% of the mountain bikes you can buy today. And lighter.

Sport means it has leather and bluetooth a couple of other things as standard so that's why I got it.
Strictly it's the "vector sport anniversary" since it's got satnav and the 10 speaker sound thingy. I didn't think by buying that it would remember the day I bought it every year, either. If that helps?

"back in the day"
That was the insurance replacement for my sponsored* bike which was nicked after a race in '97. It had a load of custom stuff on that wasn't available to buy at the time, which rather confused the insurance company somewhat.
*by "sponsored" I mean "stuff I blagged for nowt in return for riding with their logos" rather than suggesting I was actually any fucking good, here.
