Saab 9-3 Vector Sport
Which is dull but practical and has lots of lovely leather and toys. Sold my '72 MGB roadster last year to buy a small piece of platinum with a diamond in it.

custom-specced 1997 Kona Explosif, which is well old skool innit but still better than 99.9% of the mountain bikes you can buy today. And lighter.

So which 'sporting' enterprises do you engage with ?
Rallying perhaps

I'm a scratch uphill gardener.
Oh, I see, about the car.

Don't blame me, that's what Saab call it.

Everything is 'Sporting' even 1.2 Fiats
I'm not sure why people fall for it

It's just a name Rory old boy, not need to get your undercrackers in a twizzle.

What's sporting about an asthmatic 80bhp diesel, eh ?
Fucking cunts

I don't fall for it.
Sport means it has leather and bluetooth a couple of other things as standard so that's why I got it.

Strictly it's the "vector sport anniversary" since it's got satnav and the 10 speaker sound thingy. I didn't think by buying that it would remember the day I bought it every year, either. If that helps?

NO IT FUCKING DOESN@T
Everything is badged sport, it's pathetic.

*Googles Kona Explosif*
Hmmm... well as long as you take it off road, otherwise you are doing the equivalent of taking a Chelsea tractor on the school run.

I used to race XC and DH dual slalom.
"back in the day"

That was the insurance replacement for my sponsored* bike which was nicked after a race in '97. It had a load of custom stuff on that wasn't available to buy at the time, which rather confused the insurance company somewhat.

*by "sponsored" I mean "stuff I blagged for nowt in return for riding with their logos" rather than suggesting I was actually any fucking good, here.

*grudgingly accepts this*

plus, road bikes are for monumental benders
and I will maintain this right up to the point I give in and buy one since they are a shit sight faster on my commute.
(, Wed 7 Sep 2011, 11:01, Reply)
I agreed, rode bikes are for lycra-clad ponces, like Al.
