In unrelated musical news, Kunt & the Gang is playing at my local in November for the sum of three whole pounds.
I feel like I should go, but also feel he's a one trick pony.

Probably worth £3
To shout in some requests and see what comes up.

If a mate wants to go I might go with him.
Otherwise I think I'll stay at home. I'm amazed they've got him, the place is a dive. Although they got Miles Hunt to do a solo gig there a few years back.

You never know
My local got Scott Morris (ex-Bluetones bassist) for a solo gig a year or so ago.

Scott lives up here now I believe, because one of the last Bluetones gigs is Leeds O2 next weekend.

This bar does do a lot of live music, it has to be said.
Which is great. They've had a very highly regarded band called the Brew there a few times. They've garnered some very good reviews in the UK, but are absolutely massive in Europe, regularly playing big rock festivals and such like. The drummer is just a kid (probably about 23 now, but was about 18 when I first saw them), but is, hand on heart, THE best drummer I have ever witnessed. Absolutely phenomenal.
